“We have been given a Second Chance”
Second Chance is an Atlanta area sober living program. Our focus is on providing guidance and support for men and women in early recovery. Second Chance is a GARR (Georgia Association of Recovery Residences) certified recovery residence committed to providing a safe, structured community for our residents as they transition from a life of substance use into everyday sober living. Second Chance offers two programs. Our adult program is for ages 18-50. Second Chance also offers a program designed specifically for the older adult age 50 and above. This program is tailored to the needs that are specific to the baby boomer generation.
We are built on the Twelve Step Program of Alcoholics Anonymous and believe this way of life offers the best possible chance for long term sobriety.
We believe we are better than any Atlanta halfway house. We are a sober living program based on the model of the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. The 12 Steps, in our opinion, the most successful means of establishing long term recovery. The Steps emphasize honesty, open-mindedness, willingness, integrity, spirituality, and responsibility for one’s own actions; with support from others who have or are going through the same process.
Second Chance Recovery Residences are fully furnished apartments with WIFI, extended cable TV, and washers and dryers in each apartment. Bedrooms and bathrooms will be shared with one other person.
We are located in Sandy Springs, GA, a growing suburb of the city of Atlanta. We are located off GA 400 at the Northridge Exit. We are conveniently located to 12 step meetings, shopping, and several IOP programs. We are MARTA accessible and nearby the Northridge train station, and several bus lines.
